VehiclequalityofserviceSupportVehiclesPlatooningenablesthevehiclestodynamicallyformagrouptravellingtogether.Allthevehiclesintheplatoonreceiveperiodicdatafromtheleadingvehicle,inordertoCarryonplatoonoperations.Thisinformationallowsthedistancebetweenvehiclestobecomeextremelysmall,i.e.,thegapdistancetranslatedtotimecanbeVerylow(subsecond).Platooningapplicationsmayallowthevehiclesfollowingtobeautonomouslydriven.AdvancedDrivingenablessemi-automatedorfully-automateddriving.Longerinter-vehicledistanceisassumed.Eachvehicleand/orRSUsharesdataobtainedfromitslocalsensorswithvehiclesinproximity,thusallowingvehiclestocoordinatetheirtrajectoriesormaneuvers.Inaddition,eachvehiclesharesitsdrivingintentionwithvehiclesinproximity.Thebenefitsofthisusecasegrouparesafertraveling,collisionavoidance,andimprovedtrafficefficiency.ExtendedSensorsenablestheexchangeofraworprocesseddatagatheredthroughlocalsensorsorlivevideodataamongvehicles,RSUs,devicesofpedestriansandV2Xapplicationservers.Thevehiclescanenhancetheperceptionoftheirenvironmentbeyondwhattheirownsensorscandetectandhaveamoreholisticviewofthelocalsituation.RemoteDrivingenablesaremotedriveroraV2Xapplicationtooperatearemotevehicleforthosepassengerswhocannotdrivethemselvesoraremotevehiclelocatedindangerousenvironments.Foracasewherevariationislimitedandroutesarepredictable,suchaspublictransportation,drivingbasedoncloudcomputingcanbeused.Inaddition,accesstocloud-basedback-endserviceplatformcanbeconsideredforthisusecasegroup.4.2
