1、外文资料翻译DesignandImplementationofPLCbasedComputerizedMonitoringinDipCoatingSystemABSTRACTThepresentstudyisaboutthedesignandimplementationofdipcoatingsystembasedonProgrammableLogicController(PLC)technology.ThePLCcorrelatestheoperationparameterscontrolrequiredbytheuserandmonitorsthesystemduringnormalope
2、rationandunderdippingconditions.TestsofdipcoatingsystemdrivenbyDCmotordriverandcontrolledbyPLCproveahigheraccuracyinregulationascomparedtomanualhumanworks.Theimplementationofthehardwareandsoftwareforcontrolsystemandresultsobtainedfromtestsondipcoatingperformanceisprovided.Thus,PLCisprovedasaversatil

INTRODUCTIONWiththerapidchangesonindustriesandinformati
4、ontechnologiesinrecentyears,sometraditionalbulkelectronicapplianceshavetobemonitoredforalongtime.AlloftheircontroldevicessuchascommunicationinterfacesgraduallyentertheInternetinformationera.Controlofallequipmentshasbeenperformedthroughtheuseofcomputers.MostequipmentusesPLC(Programmablelogiccontrolle
5、r)toconnectwithcomputertomonitorconsumingdevices.PLC,sarewidelyusedinindustrialfieldsbecausetheyareinexpensive,easytoinstallandveryflexibleinapplications.APLCinteractswiththeexternalworldthroughitsinputsandoutputs.Sincetechnologyformotioncontrolofcircuitdrivesbecameavailable,theuseofPLCwithpowerelec
6、tronicsinelectricmachineapplicationshasbeenintroducedinthemanufacturingautomation1.Dipcoatersarerobustcomputercontrolledinstrumentsforprecisethinfilmdeposition.Weprovidesolutionsforthedipcoatingofsmalltolargesamplesineithersingleormultiplevesselswhichissuitableforbothsimpleandcomplexvesselsequencing
7、2.Sincetechnologyformotioncontrolofelectricdrivesbecameavailable,theuseofPLC,swithpowerelectronicsinelectricmachinesapplicationshasbeenintroducedinthemanufacturingautomation13&4.ManyapplicationsofDCmotorsrequirebesidesthemotorcontrolfunctionality,thehandlingofseveralspecificanaloganddigitalinput/out
8、putsignals,homesignals,forwardcommand,reversecommandsandon/off5.Insuchcases,acontrolunitinvolvingaPLCmustbeaddedtothesystemstructure.ThispaperpresentsaPLC-basedmonitoringandcontrolsystemforDipCoating.Itdescribesthedesignandimplementationoftheconfiguredhardwareandsoftware.ThetestresultsobtainedonDCmo
9、torperformanceshowimprovedefficiencyandincreasedaccuracyintimeconstantcontrolledoperation.Thus,thePLCcorrelatesandcontrolstheoperationalparameterstothetimesetpointrequestedbytheuserandmonitorstheDCmotorsystemduringmanualoperationandunderautomaticconditions.2. PLCASASYSTEMCONTROLLERPLCisamicroprocess
10、or-basedcontrolsystem,designedforautomationprocessesinindustrialenvironments.ItusesaprogrammablememoryfortheinternalstorageofUserorientatedinstructionsforimplementingspecificfunctionssuchasarithmetic,counting,logic,sequencing,andtiming6&7.APLCcanbeprogrammedtosense,activateandcontrolindustrialequipm
11、ent,incorporatesanumberofI/Opoints,whichallowelectricalsignalstobeinterfaced.InputdevicesandoutputdevicesoftheprocessareconnectedtothePLCandthecontrolprogramisenteredintothePLCmemory(Fig1).Inourapplication,itcontrolsthroughanalog/digitalinputsandoutputsthevaryingload-constantspeedoperationofaninduct
12、ionmotor.Also,thePLCcontinuouslymonitorstheinputsandactivatestheoutputsaccordingtothecontrolprogram.ThisPLCsystemisofmodulartypecomposedofspecifichardwarebuildingblocks(modules),whichplugdirectlyintoaproprietarybus:acentralprocessorunit(CPU),apowersupplyunit,input-outputmodulesI/Oandaprogramterminal
13、.Suchamodularapproachhastheadvantagethattheinitialconfigurationcanbeexpandedforotherfutureapplicationssuchasmultimachinesystemsorcomputerlinking8.3. CONTROLSYSTEMOFDIPCOATINGMODULEThefollowingconfigurationscanbeobtainedfromthissetup.PLC,sprogrammingisbasedonthelogicdemandsofinputdevicesandtheprogram
14、simplementedarepredominantlylogicalratherthannumericalcomputationalalgorithms.Theprogrammedoperationsworkonastraighttwo-statettforwardandreverse“basisandthesealternatepossibilitiescorrespondtopositivepolarityornegativepolarity(logicalform)i.e.+12Vor-12vrespectively.In(Fig2),theblockdiagramoftheexper

17、becontrolledthesystemofDipcoatingmodulebyAutoandManualsswitchareplacedinbuiltinthecircuitboard.4. HARDWAREDESCRIPTIONDCmotorsrunondirectcurrentfromabatteryorDCpowersupply.Directcurrentisthetermusedtodescribeelectricityataconstantvoltage.ACmotorsrunonalternatingcurrent,whichoscillateswithafixedcycleb
18、etweenapositiveandnegativevalue.ElectricaloutletsprovideACpower,whenabatteryorDCpowersupplyisconnectedbetweenaDCmotorselectricalleads,themotorconvertselectricalenergytomechanicalworkastheoutputshaftturns5&20.Thesearehighqualitylowcostmotors.Thismotorhasaplasticgearboxshellwhichaccommodatesmetalgears
19、thatensureslongerwearandtear.Highqualitygreaseisappliedinsidethegearboxforprovidingfrictionlessrotationofthegearsf5.DCmotortechnicalspecificationsshowsinTable1.L293DisadualH-BridgemotordriverICL293DcaninterfacetwoDCmotorswhichcanbecontrolledinbothclockwiseandanticlockwisedirection.L293Dhasoutputcurr
20、entof600mAandpeakoutputcurrentof1.2Aperchannel.MoreoverforprotectionofcircuitfrombackEMFoutputdiodesareincludedwithintheIC.Theoutputsupply(VCC2)hasawiderangefrom4.5Vto36V,whichhasmadeL293DisabestchoiceforDCmotordriver14.AsimpleschematicforinterfacingaDCmotorusingL293D(Fig3).Threepinsareneededforinte
21、rfacingaDCmotor(A,BandEnable).Forenabledconnect5vVCCtoenablepinanother2pinsneededfromcontrollertomaketheDCmotorworks.AsperthetruthtableTable.3mentionedinthefig.3it,sfairlysimpletoprogramthePLCcontroller.It,salsoclearfromthetruthtableofBJTcircuitandL293Dtheprogrammingwillbesameforbothofthem,justkeepi
