Editorialpolicies2.1 PeerreviewandeditorialpolicyThejournalsgeneralreviewpolicyistoobtainatleasttwoindependentreviewsofeachfulllengtharticleandatleastoneforshortreportletters.Weuseadouble-b

13、lindreviewingprocessinwhichauthors*andreviewers*identitiesareconcealed.Ourreviewersareencouragedtoprovidesubstantive,constructivereviewsthatprovidesuggestionsforimprovingtheworkanddistinguishbetweenmandatoryandnon-mandatoryrecommendations.TheEditorsreservetherighttomakeeditorialandliterarycorrection

14、s.Majorrearrangementsorcorrectionswillbemadeonlywiththeapprovalofauthors.Inmostcasestheywillbeofferedasrecommendationstopermitauthorstorewritetheirmaterialinawaythatisacceptabletothejournal.TheEditorialProcessiscollaborativeone.TheEditorswillevaluatethemanuscriptandconsiderthereviewsandformtheirowno

15、pinion.AssumingthemanuscriptisnotrejectedtheEditorwillmakesuggestionstotheauthorabouthowtoimprovethemanuscriptandraisequestionsthatneedtobeanswered.Thesuggestionsarenotbinding.Theauthorsmayhavebetteralternativesorwishtoarguetheirpointofview.Allofthisisdonetoimprovethemanuscriptbeforepublication.Ulti

21、reshouldbeaminimumof2yearsfollow-upfornewimplantsandaminimumof5yearsfollow-upforimplantswhichhavebeeninuseforsometime.Studieswhichdonothaveadequatelengthoffollow-upwillberejected.2.3 AuthorshipPapersshouldonlybesubmittedforconsiderationonceconsentisgivenbyallcontributingauthors.Thosesubmittingpapers

22、shouldcarefullycheckthatallthosewhoseworkcontributedtothepaperareacknowledgedascontributingauthors.Thelistofauthorsshouldincludeallthosewhocanlegitimatelyclaimauthorship.Thisisallthosewho:(i) Madeasubstantialcontributiontotheconceptordesignofthework;oracquisition,analysisorinterpretationofdata,(ii)
